Max Crumit has worked for more than three decades as an accomplished civil engineer through positions at such firms as PBS&J and MCG. Industry involvement compliments his professional work; Max Crumit has maintained affiliations with professional organizations like the Florida Engineering Society (FES) and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
Since its inception more than 150 years ago, ASCE has grown to serve a network of over 150,000 civil engineers across 177 nations. One of the society’s primary missions is supporting the work of all its members, a goal it accomplishes through training opportunities such as continuing education (CE). ASCE offers a number of opportunities to acquire CE credits, including In-person seminars, webinars, and online training sessions.
Florida Football by Max Crumit
Florida vs. Florida State! A sundown, sunshine state smack down every year. This year the Seminoles will host the Gators at Doak Campbell stadium on November 26th, purportedly at 6:00 p.m. Florida’s head football coach Jim McElwain will have his hands full this year; as the Seminoles have finished in the top-four in all major sports polls, and they have the preseason favorite Heisman candidate in RB Dalvin Cook.

Future is bright
Max Crumit continues to work with betonwerk, US. He is helping them to market the company’s line of Slot-Drain water removal pipes and drainage systems.
In his free time, Max Crumit continues to follow NCAA football, and in particular his alma mater, the Florida Gators.
The 2016 Gators have three players on the watch list for the Chris Bednarik Award, given to the nation’s best defensive player by its sponsors, the Maxwell Football Club. The players are:
Senior linebacker Jarrad Davis – Playing in 14 games in 2015 and starting in 12, Davis made 98 tackles, the second highest number for the team. Of those tackles, 11 were for a loss and ranked him third for the Gators. Davis was chosen for the Gridiron Now all-SEC second team.
Redshirted defensive back Marcus Maye – The senior received first-team All-America designations from Pro Football Focus and USA Today and an honorable mention from Sports Illustrated. His 82 tackles are the highlight of his statistics and are fourth best for the team. Starting in 12 of 13 games, Maye caused five fumbles, coming in second nationally.
Junior Jalen Tabor – Responsible for two interceptions that resulted in touchdowns, Tabor earned all-SEC honors from conference coaches and five media organizations. His four total interceptions tied him for second in the conference. He played in 13 games in 2015, winning a starting spot in nine.
Max Crumit
Max Crumit is an Orlando, Florida resident and professional engineer currently employed as a consultant for to the transportation and tolling industries. In his over 30 years of experience in the transportation infrastructure industry, Max Crumit has been involved in numerous projects designing, expanding, and improving roads in Florida and throughout the nation. His projects have included access roads and a multi-billion-dollar beltway around Orlando. He has also worked on rail infrastructure, doing preliminary work on the MAGLEV train line from Orlando International Airport to EPCOT and Disney World.
Max Crumit graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Engineering from the University of Florida in 1984 where he majored in civil engineering. He has been a member of numerous organizations associated with his work as a civil engineer, such as the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Institute of Transportation Engineers, and the International Bridge, Tunnel, and Turnpike Association. Mr. Crumit is a member of the Transportation Committee of the Florida Engineering Society.
Max Crumit is a strategic and business consultant in Winter Park, Florida. A long time professional in the civil engineering field, he has extensive experience in the transportation planning sector. Outside of his professional life, Max Crumit is an avid Florida Gators fan.
The Florida Gators have been ramping up their recruiting over recent weeks.
The school landed yet another defensive end, the second of its recruiting push, with junior college standout Javier Edwards. The 6’3” Edwards comes out of Blinn College in Houston, and committed to the team immediately after receiving an offer from head coach Jim McElwain, who has made a focused effort to bring in talent from the junior college ranks since taking the helm at Florida.
Edwards is the seventh player to commit to McElwain’s 2017 recruiting class, making his decision official in a recent Twitter post. With his commitment, the Gators move up to 27th overall in the 2017 recruiting rankings.
The Gators open their season Sept. 3 at home against the UMass Minutemen.
